Feedback is focused to the first three chapters. It looks at both how immersive your story is, as well as the structure, to ensure you’ve laid the successful framework for a great novel.
Service includes one pass on your first three chapters. Afterward you receive an Editorial Letter with feedback on what works well, as well as considerations while you draft. You will also receive a copy of your first three chapters with inline comments, and a one hour coaching call to discuss feedback.
Investment: $125. Word count for First Three Chapters is capped at 15,000.
*Goal is to read act one. If your story has small chapters, more chapters can be sent.

Feedback is focused on how immersive your story is for a reader, This varies from a traditional beta read as there’s a pointed focus on craft elements impacting the reader.
It includes one pass on your manuscript. Afterward you receive a five page Editorial Letter with feedback on plot, setting, characters, reader experience, and inconsistencies, along with considerations on how to effectively revise. It also includes a one hour coaching call afterward to review feedback.

$350 for up to 60,000 words
$400 for 60,001 - 800,000 words
$450 for 80,001 - 100,000 words
$500 for 100,001 - 120,000 words

It includes one pass on your manuscript. Afterward you receive a 10-12 Editorial Letter noting what worked well, and considerations while revising. It also includes your Story Compass and a one hour coaching call to discuss feedback.

After revisions are made, a second pass will be done on your manuscript. Afterward you receive a copy of your manuscript with inline comments, an updated Story Roadmap and a one hour coaching call to discuss feedback.

This edit is the same as a developmental edit in regards to focus and feedback, but includes a revision plan and four additional coaching calls to assist with the execution of revisions in your novel. It is a great option for someone looking for both feedback on their manuscript and support while revising.

Being an editor and author, I see story from both sides. I know what a story needs to be strong developmentally and engaging for a reader, and I understand that implementing edits can be complex, time consuming, and sometimes overwhelming.

Story Compass
This high level analysis of your novel gives you a truth north as you edit. Have a clear vision of what your plot and character arcs look like, so that revisions can weave in seamlessly.
Story Roadmap
The Story Roadmap takes the Story Compass a step further. It outlines each scene of your novel with details on the plot, character arc, POV, stakes etc. This gives you visibility of your story at a granular level, so you can weave in revisions easily, and track your progress as you go.
